Subtle notes of sweet dark cherries are elevated with overtones of cola and vanilla. A gentle fruit acidity coupled with mature tannins and exceptional grapes of the Valley present a rich wine of balance and character.
Located at the northern end of Sonoma County, Alexander Valley is recognized as a preeminent growing region for Cabernet Sauvignon. Flanked to the east by the Mayacamas Mountains and to the west by the rugged coastal range, the Valley experiences some of the warmest days in Northern California tempered by cool night breezes. The alluvial soils lend rich notes of chocolate and dark fruit to the wines.
Enjoy with meats such as dry-aged beef or roast leg of lamb.
